Biography

Dr. Nedhal Khalifa received her Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree from the Arabian Gulf University, Manama, Bahrain, in 1993. She then went on to complete a specialization in the field of Dermatology in the United Kingdom. She worked at St. Thomas’ & Guy’s Hospital in London, where she joined the St. John’s Institute of Dermatology and worked as a registrar and senior registrar from 1994 and 2000. While in London, Dr. Khalifa continued her specialization studies and completed her Masters of Science (MS.c) and Doctorate of Philosophy in Dermatology (Ph.D.) from King’s College, the University of London in 2003. In 2004, Dr. Nedhal founded Derma One Medical Centre, a Dermatology & Aesthetics Centre in Manama, Bahrain. Dr. Nedhal is known for her extensive experience in performing various aesthetic and laser-related treatments. In 2013, Dr. Nedhal founded Derma One NK, the first medical spa in Bahrain. She organized the first dermatology-dedicated forums in Bahrain, including the Bahrain Dermatology Forums 1 & 2, and was the president of the first edition of Bahrain Dermatology, Laser and Aesthetics Conference & Exhibition. More recently, Dr. Nedhal organized the first dermatology-focused forums in Bahrain and was the president of the first edition of Bahrain Dermatology, Laser and Aesthetics Conference & Exhibition. Dr. Nedhal is a frequent speaker at various dermatologic meetings & conferences worldwide and is a member of several International Advisory Boards.
